About us

Helloooo and welcome to our very purple website!

We’re Me and My Sister: an all-singing, all-dancing, all-matching-dresses band from the Isle of Wight made up of two actual sisters.

Me and My Sister are:

Vicki Lutas
Becky Lutas
Ross Mabey
Luke Steen
Sam Grzyb

Me and My Sister are an indie/pop band fronted by two sisters, best known for their live performance on GMTV.

The girls write fun music, complete with harmonies, handclaps and humour, about the important things in life (such as, how jealous they are of their friend for meeting Lorraine Kelly).

The band have performed at Bestival 2010, had their song ‘Speaking on the Telephone’ used on BBC drama, The Cut. They’ve also played alongside the Pigeon Detectives on the main stage at White Air Extreme Sports Festival and have recently released their debut EP (‘Hairbrushes for Microphones‘).

Oh, and they’ve been known to crack out the occasional dance move, too…

There’s plently more around the website, including a blog, videos, pictures and music, so stick around for a bit and have a little look.

OAO (over and out – it’ll catch on one day. Maybe).

“If you saw The Pipettes back in their early days then you’ll probably have some idea how much fun the Isle Of Wight’s Me And My Sister are. Two actual sisters, Vicki and Becky, now backed by Ross and Luke on bass and drums, play witty songs about boys, Britney, and Bestival (which they were handpicked to play in 2010). Quite possibly the happiest band in Britain, they will leave you (almost as) equally delighted.”Dan Ormsby, 4 or 5 Magicians
